Huawei Folding Smartphone | Release Date and Review:
As Huawei announced the release of folding smartphone. This highly awaited device is gonna be launched on 24th February 2019. It will connect to a 5th Generation (5G) mobile network.

Name & Release Date
Huawei will launch it’s first and most awaited folding phone at MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona, Spain, at the last of February. This was announced by Huawei’s CEO Richard Yu. He announced during the unveiling of the new 5G chipset. Huawei’s 5G chipset is likely to be part of this folding smartphone. On Twitter, Huawei shared the following image:
Huawei will hold a press conference on Feb 24 local time at 2 pm. That image strongly hints towards folding smartphone reveal through the use of a V-shape motif. Tagline “Connecting the Future” hints the event to 5G.
The phone is then expected to available for sale in June. Folding phone would come in a small production at first due to it is complicated to produce. This manufacturing complexity may make the folding phone expensive.
Huawei’s folding phone does not have a name yet but circulating name is MateX.
Huawei folding smartphone will fold as cleared by name. This phone looks like a regular smartphone. It opens out into a larger and tablet-style device.
But ultimately, we can’t predict the exact design what Huawei will do. The Company has produced superb looking devices over the past year. So, we expect Huawei to bring that flair to its upcoming folding smartphone.
This Huawei folding smartphone will be a 5G supported device. And will come with the Kirin 980 processor and Huawei’s new Balong 5000 5G chipset.
It may have a folded screen size of 5-6 inches An open screen size of about 8 inches. The Software may be of Google’s specially designed Android interface specially designed for foldable smartphones. But it is still expected to use Huawei’s own EMUI interface.
