Huawei Sold 200+ Million Smartphones in 2018, Breaking Own Record: In general, Huawei made the news several times in 2018. For reasons other than its smartphones, Company’s sale records, and CFO arrest in Canada. This time, Huawei is breaking the records again and again. In 2018, Huawei successfully managed to sale 200+ Million smartphones across the globe. Huawei also becomes 2nd largest smartphone selling brand.
The company sold around 153 million smartphones in 2017. Huawei’s sale is increasing year by year. In 2018, Company’s sale increased by one-third as compared to last year. In August, Huawei becomes the second largest smartphone selling brand in the world. After Samsung, Huawei is now the second largest smartphone selling brand. Huawei is passing the Apple’s sale in 2018. It was thought that this position will be short term, but Huawei is still at the number two spot.
In early December, Huawei said it can reach 200 million milestones by Christmas. Surprisingly Huawei hit the target before the Christmas. Huawei’s Honor 10, the P20 pro and P20 lite, and the excellent Mate 20 Pro and Mate 10 lite phones helped it superbly to achieve this success. Huawei’s mid-range and pocket-friendly Nova series, are sold 65+ million units across the globe since their launch in 2016. This series is a massive contribution to the success of Huawei in 2018.
In a report, Huawei says that there are more than 500+ million people are using Huawei’s smartphones in over 170 countries. Somehow mobile network providers in the US are cutting off the sale of Huawei smartphones. Surprisingly Apple’s new iPhones are not selling as expected.
